Meet Our Owner & Physical Therapist

“Hi everyone! My name is …. and I am the owner and a physical therapist at Nova Physical Therapy & Wellness. My dream of becoming a physical therapist and making a difference in the lives of people began in high school. I grew up in a small town called Gunter in North Texas; however, I have lived all over the state of Texas to pursue this dream of mine. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Applied Exercise Science from Texas A&M University in College Station and my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. My husband and I moved to Montgomery in 2021, and we just fell in love with the community…..so much so that we decided to raise our family here! We have a wild three-year-old son and a sweet ten-month-old daughter. When I am not pursuing my calling in physical therapy, you can find me spending time with family, sipping on some local coffee, catching up with friends over brunch, or exercising!
Nova Physical Therapy and Wellness was created after much prayer and on God’s timing. I have spent the majority of my career working with the pediatric population. After having gone through two pregnancies, two cesarean births, and two very different and challenging postpartum experiences, I realized that I can make an impact in the lives of women during a very vulnerable time as well! I am still molding into the physical therapist I want to be, as you can never stop learning and developing new skills in this impactful career. I am finding new interests inside and outside the physical therapy world, but ultimately my area of focus is to support mothers and children through a holistic and whole body approach to support you and your children!
It truly takes a village to feel supported during these important seasons in life. Whether you are experiencing discomfort during your pregnancy or postpartum, you want to feel better and return to safe physical activity after having a baby, or have concerns about your child’s motor development, please let me be a part of your family’s journey and your village!”
